HOW TO QUIT TOBACCO OR SMOKING?



  
Every  year Tobacco kills billions of people worldwide. Tobacco contains nicotine. This is a carcinogenic substance. It causes cancer.

Tobacco damages Respiratory system

The path of tobacco fumes, in respiratory  track is easy target for cancer. People are losing voice. The larynx which is also called as the voice box has been surgically removed from lot of people. Since nicotine targets larynx.

If tobacco reaches lungs, it also causes lung cancer. Since it irritates and damages epithelial layer, lungs easily get affected with nicotine. It leads to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Finally malignant tumors are formed. Slowly cancerous cells spread to different parts of the body.

Tobacco deteriorates Performance of nerves 

Smoking affects central nervous system and hampers the senses. Smokers lose the pleasure of smell and taste with time. So they don't enjoy food. Slowly, food habits get affected. They don't have proper food. They skip meals. This leads to bad health as the body is undernourished.

Targets Passive smokers

Passive smoking is affecting your family members also. When you exhale cigarette smoke, that is inhaled by family members. It strongly affects the children. Children of smokers have high risk of bronchitis, ear problems, asthma, wheezing, coughing and coronary heart disease.
 

Destroys Anatomy of blood

Tobacco reduces the good cholesterol in blood and increases bad cholesterol (atherosclerosis). Because of this there is high risk of blood clot formations. This can lead to stroke of heart and brain.

Ruins digestive system

Tobacco use can cause gum inflammation (gingivitis) or infection (periodontitis). It leads to tooth decay, tooth loss and bad breath. Tobacco can induce kidney cancer and pancreatic cancer.
 
Hampers performance on bed 

Smokers experience difficulty achieving orgasm and are at higher risk of infertility.

Difficulties experienced by lady smokers

Feminine smokers or tobacco users may experience menopause at an earlier age. They have high risk of cervical cancer.

Tobacco induces complications of pregnancy, premature delivery, low birth weight, infanticide (death of new born).

So Tobacco kills.
I am sure you are convinced.
Now how to quit tobacco or smoking?

1.         Hydro therapy
·       Drink five liters of water every day. Intake of water is the best method to cleanse the tobacco in body.

·       Whenever you develop craving for tobacco try to have a hot shower on spine and neck. This helps you reduce the sensation in your nerves to seek tobacco.

·       When you return home soak your feet in luke warm water before sleep. This prevents you from reaching tobacco at night.   

2.         Switching the tobacco habit 

·       Whenever you feel like having tobacco, You can chew beetle leaves along with areca nut and lime. This substitutes the tobacco and your mind learns to choose beetle leaves instead of tobacco.

3.         Yoga therapy
·       Stage 1: open your lips and ensure the upper row of teeth are touching lower row of teeth. Inhale air through the gaps between teeth. Your mouth feels chilled.
·       Stage 2: Open mouth and fold your tongue backwards, touching the space behind the top row of teeth and inhale air through the gap of folded tongue. This helps you to overcome tobacco craving instantly.

4.         Acoustic therapy
·       Listen to alpha music. The alpha waves generated in the mind, help you to have firm mindset. This acts as the strong root to prevent you from reaching tobacco.
·       Whenever you develop craving for tobacco, it's a good idea to distract yourself by listening to nature music.

5.         Club for smoke free champs
Develop a circle of friends who want to quit smoking. Get people to your club who have already quit smoking. Let them tell their amazing story on quitting tobacco. This will motivate you to quit smoking.

How to overcome Heart crush or Love Failure or Breakup or Death of loved one?



 
Love is a beautiful feeling which binds people, strongly. Every guy and girl aspires for their dream boy or dream girl. So loving somebody is not a sin. 

Love at first sight is also acceptable, as our hormones are strong and we are surrounded by romantic movies, romantic people. Our friend's amazing concepts of romance motivate us to have a potential partner.

Every one loves before the age of 30. Some of them share their love story. Some after loosing their love, start hating lovers and love stories. 

Love is an ocean of fantastic feelings. But still it is an ocean. When we jump into an ocean, how many of us are lucky to sail and continue our love story?

Alas! I sailed for more than a decade and finally realized she never loved me. She had faked me up and played with my emotions and left me with scars.

So it was not that easy for me to overcome my Heart crush. Definitely there are lot around you with Love Failure. And if you can talk with your friends and family, you will get their  breakup stories. 

So we need to acknowledge. we are not lonely in heart crush world.
So don't feel bad. Now how to overcome love failure or death of loved one:

We need a plan, right? I give you my effective strategy to overcome love failure. Very effective strategy which helped me to overcome heart crush with a girl whom I loved right from my school days and she ditched me, when she got a better salary than me.

Now I remember all those beautiful girls whom I had said no, because I loved my girl from my school days. But none of them love me anymore. If those nice girls can overcome love failure. why can't me?

When I overcame heart crush, why can't you?
It's not that much tough to overcome separation from the loved one. So let's  start. Are you ready ???

Step 1: Confirm whether he/she really don't love you

Please this is the fundamental and most important step. Please don't ignore it. Small quarrels are common in every love story. Just telling ' I hate you', ' you know it's a break up',
'It's my mistake I once loved you',
 'all these moments were fake',
'you are a cheater', 'you faked me up', 
'you just used me', 'that's it over, finished',
 ' I can't take it any more'   

And that can be any other dialogue which you or your lover told
doesn't mean anything. It's not the end of your amazing love story.
Please call your darling, meet your love. Just find out whether you still love. Make sure you stay cool and communicate love. People spend 35 years in search of love but they are never loved but you are lucky you had someone special. Please confirm and don't depend on a secret agent who tells he is 007 or  she tells she is bond's big mummy.

That's  your love story. That cannot be put to end by someone else.   

Step 2: Hey pal if you had a fake alarm.This is not end of your love story then please don't continue with the blog. There are lot of other blogs in recovermindhealthblogspot.in

But,buddy you are confirmed by your partner that's a break up. Then, first of all you know you can move over. I support you for that.    
Let's continue,

Break all the bridges which take you to your darling (sorry Ex-darling, you prefer any other bad word you can choose, nobody has any problem, not even me, I promise that)

Breaking bridges in the sense, any means to communicate back to that devil.It can be blocking her or him in the social media, adding that person's number to blocklist.

Reselling all the cards and gifts to somebody. Do everything to prevent the trigger of memory chain of her or his memory in your life.

Because in next steps I have shared advanced techniques of psychology. Which needs assurance that you don't get trigger of those sweet memories.

Step 3: (After one week finishing step 2) Do a cognitive home work
Answer the following cognitive questions

3.1 List down benefits as your ex-love is not around you (for example, you can have a nice time to relax, you can focus on your exam or work, so and soforth)
3.2 Prove and list down, why he or she is unfit to be called as your dream boy or dream girl.
3.3 List down all the negative comments passed by your ex-girlfriend or ex-boyfriend on you.
3.4 List all those bitter situations when you have sacrificed your principles to adjust for your ex-love
3.5 List all the situations when he or she embarrassed you
3.6 List all those people who were of top priority for him or her
3.7 List down those moments when she or he ignored your needs or emotions

Step 4: (2 weeks later once you know you are happy with the answers in cognitive home work, you continue with step 4 ) Aversion therapy

4.1 Imagine there is grid with horizontal and vertical lines in front of  you.
4.2 Close your eyes and imagine the worst food you ever tasted.
4.3 Find out where that worst food is located on the imaginary grid.
4.4 Experience the taste, touch, smell  of that food, remember the color and shape of that food.
4.5 Now in the climax of whack!!! feeling spot where is that food in the grid.
4.6 Now relax and open your eyes
4.7 Close your eyes and remember your ex-love. Find out where she or he stands on the grid.
4.8 Remember all the cognitive home work about that guy or girl.
4.9 Slowly move your ex-love from her or his place to the place of worst food you have tasted. Imagine your ex-love got merged into the worst food. 

NOTE: Repeat step 4 for 4 weeks (every day for 20 mins until you feel whack!!! to remember your ex-love)

Step 5: Lie truth game

5.1 write down when did you first meet your ex-love
5.2 List down all the moments you spent with him.
5.3 Relax. Take deep breaths. Focus on your deep respiration. Enjoy you breath.
5.3 when you are in the climax of relaxation. Start your love story in reverse order. Just create a new pathway of memories in your brain where those moments got missed because something else happened at that time
.
For example you had coffee with him or her after playing in rain. Now you visualize you were inside home having coffee with your parents. You had coffee but with your parents or someone else who is a nice person.

5.4 Slowly go to the first moment when you were introduced to her or him and put a new neurological path way as if that happened but not with that guy or gal.

Continue searching love. Search for love is common. Happy love discovery to you. May you find the right dream girl or dream boy in next person. But make it slow and gradual to know whether she or he is right.

How to overcome sleeplessness or insomnia?



There is no Good Day without a Good Night.
Are you losing sleep? 





Is it affecting your performance though out the next  day? 
Are you trying hard to overcome insomnia or sleeplessness.
You have come to the right blog!!

I will share with you some techniques to make you get sleep as you go to bed.
But first let me tell what's sleep. Sleep is a psycho somatic rest given to body and mind. When we sleep, the stress in the body or mind is evenly distributed throughout the body. The sleep period  has its roots in the circadian cycle.

Circadian cycle is the hormone cycle in our body. The circadian cycle decides the secretion of different hormones in the body. It also decides the amount of secretion. The circadian cycle decides the time and duration of hormonal  activation. Circadian cycle is basically the chain of hormonal secretions.

Now shall we have some techniques to have good night sleep? 

Technique 01: Restore circadian cycle

Schedule the day. Prepare a timetable for all the activities you do in 24 hours. The timetable should include the time of waking up from bed, morning rituals (like bathing), office hours, time you spend with family and friends, study hours, time to retire to bed.  
Everyday if you are sleeping at the same time. Automatically dopamine secretion will be reduced at that time. This leads to passivity of mind. So you fall asleep easily.

Technique 02: Hot water shower

Hot shower on body (not on head) suddenly increases blood circulation. Sudden increase in the blood circulation gives quick relaxation to mind and body. This quick relaxation leads to reduction in the amount of all activity hormones. So  mind becomes slow and  there will be lesser number of thoughts. So you will feel sleepy.

Technique 03: Darkroom

When there is too much light or flashy light in the room it stimulates adrenaline which makes you too much aggressive and you feel overactive. You should have observed in parties they have flashy lights, which demand your attention and thereby you are active. So you can't sleep. So if you want to sleep avoid flashy lights in the bed room. In fact it is a good practise to turn off lights while you are sleeping.

Technique  04: Turn on the fan

Setting  the body thermostat to lower temperature is one of the easiest methods to get sleep. Open windows, make sure there is proper circulation of fresh air. Turn on the fan. When air blows on the body you easily feel sleepy. If you need you can try a table fan along with a ceiling fan.

Technique  05: Mudra for sleep

Mudras are ancient Indian techniques to stimulate hormonal changes in the body. There is a mudra which induces sleep. It is easy. Just touch the tip of your index finger to thumb. Keep all the remaining fingers straight. Go to bed and keep your body in a relaxed and straight position. Focus your attention on the breath. Breath slowly and slowly. Calm yourself. If you get thoughts, don't  get carried away by them. Just relax. you will get sleep.(Hey dear make sure you are sleeping on your back).  

Technique  06: Self hypnosis

Sit on a chair with feet (Hey only feet, not leg crossed) and fingers crossed. It is not that much complex dear. Just cross your feet near the ankle and put the fingers of right hand between the fingers in the left hand.
Now I am sure you got the posture, alright!
Now close your eyes and say relax, relax, relax...  in your mind.
NOTE: you can do this by lying on bed also. 

Technique  07: Catharsis

Lot of people don't sleep because they have something to tell. They wish to tell it to as many people as possible, but they are afraid to tell. If not they are reluctant to tell it to others. This pent up emotions and causes them loose sleep. If you are that type, having a diary or finding a psychological counselor will be a good idea.

Technique  08: Enjoy light music while watching stable flame of lamp

Avoid an annoying stimulus one hour before bed. That can be watching TV, listening to a hard music, staring at a computer, having a high pitch conversation over the phone.
Instead of that  enjoy a light and relaxing music. Light an oil lamp. Add two drops of lavender essential oil in it. Just look the flame of the lamp gently. You will feel sleepy. You can combine this with a fan blowing air on your body.
