year Tobacco kills billions of people worldwide. Tobacco contains
nicotine. This is a carcinogenic substance. It causes cancer.

cancer. People are losing voice. The larynx which is also called as the voice
box has been surgically removed from lot of people. Since nicotine targets
larynx.
If tobacco reaches lungs, it also causes
lung cancer. Since it irritates and damages epithelial layer, lungs easily get
affected with nicotine. It leads to chronic obstructive pulmonary
disease (COPD). Finally malignant
tumors are formed. Slowly cancerous cells spread to different parts of the
body.

hampers the senses. Smokers lose the pleasure of smell and taste with time. So
